    Hey everyone,

I recently picked up a used leather Above The Tie travel kit that holds one razor (with blades or extra plates) and I am looking for ways to clean the soap scum from the previous owner off the leather. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Saddle soap, followed by leather conditioner. Or you could just wipe it off with a damp cloth. I would think that would also work.

I just happened to have saddle soap at home and gave it a try today. It worked great!

I cannot remember if I ever used that saddle soap before. I had forgotten all about it until you fine people reminded me about it.

    Thanks again everyone!
