How to schick?

Hi guys,
I am new to the schick and I am unsure how to use it. I bought one recently but I am a bit unsure how to hold it/shave with it.
I have some succesful experience with a DE so any references to DE technique may be useful.

 

I'm assuming you mean a Schick Injector? If thats the case and if you have ever used a cartridge razor, then using and holding an injector is pretty much the same thing.

 

Don't use too much pressure. Even with an injector you use less pressure than you would a cartridge.

 

For the blade angle, most people tip the head of the razor slightly away from the face instead of keeping it flat on the face.

 

Thanks for the tips guys, but from the sounds of it I won't be as satisfied with the Schick injector shave as a DE or a GEM...
Is the shave any faster with a Schick or is it still a multi-pass approach to shaving?

 

Don't discount the razor until you have had a chance to use it, they can give great shaves, but like a D/E and Gem they are multi-pass shavers.
