Male here. I want to style my hair and keep the bangs up, however no matter what I apply to it, it goes down after couple of minutes. My hair is not very long and there shouldn't be a problem. I've tried hair gel, wax, pomade, clay, fiber, putty, gum, almost all there is out there. As well as on wet, damp and dry hair. My hair just won't stay up. Any idea on how to fix this? Thank you and appreciated.
Punk Rockers with 10 inch Mohawks use Elmer's (white school variety) glue to stiffen their hair. Seems a bit drastic for shortish hair, though.
Or just choose a style that actually works for your hair. No matter how much you may want a certain style, if your hair won't cooperate, it's just an exercise in frustration.
Well... my sister would lean forward with her head down for a gravity assist and then blow dry her bangs toward the floor and hairspray the heck out of them (I mean, an OSHA violation cloud of VOCs).
This. I learned that the hard way. My hair just won't cooperate unless I want to style it multiple times a day. Using a clipper now at home, saving tons of money and looks better than a misstyled hairdo!
Last five years this has become my go to product. With curly hair and male pattern baldness advancing, I didn't want to look like a clown. Accept reality. Embrace your inner Pawpaw.
Yeah. I get a #6 on top and 5 on the side. Spikes my hair up pretty good. I use pomade daily, but like I said when I want absolute hold Got 2B Glued works great. Hard to find a barber to do a flat top around here. My head's flat anyway. LOL ... to be continued... Don
Not a Ginger here. No offense to anyone that is. You look marvelous! As a young pre-shaver growing up in the 'burbs of Chicago I watched that clown on WGN.
