Happy New YEAR!
The sink is finally installed, caulked & sealed. We will turn the water back on tomorrow. (Wish us luck.)
Here is a pic;
Tho, I suspect at that angle, the water won't fall into the basin. Maybe make sure that anti-grav generator is working before you turn the water on.
Of course. I would never turn on the sink without the anti-grav generator.
Phew. You can't be too careful these days.
it will never overflow....
We set the sink at the correct angle, shut off the anti-grav control and turned the water valves back on. The hot water valve had been replaced recently & was fine. The cold water valve, probably original to the house, started leaking. We called the plumber who arrived within the hour. $350.00 later, it is fixed. (Worth every penny.)
Happy New year friends. I woke up with the thought that I graduated high school 40 years ago this June. Holy smokes where did the time go?
The house is finally clean, so I was able to get out to the archery range and shoot the recurve bow today.
Wouldn't it be easier (and less expensive) to shoot the target?
It’s actually easier to shoot AT the target.
Hi. I hope I didn’t miss anybody else’s “How’s your day” thread. Anyway, I had a bit of good luck today. I went to the archery range and opened my bag, to see that my quiver was not in it. Clearly, I had forgotten to put it away the last time I was there.
Moments later, I looked to my left and saw it on top of a nearby cabinet. (It’s bright pink, so I could hardly miss it.) So my gratitude goes to whoever put it there.
I spent much of the day there, as the water on my street was off for several hours (not sure why.). But when I got home, it was on & all is well.
It's pretty cool that you spend time at the archery range. Good fun and a great personal challenge for people.

As the Fonz would say.
Today I get to play “musical bows”. It’s time to start using my tournament bow, which is heavier and more powerful than the one I have been using. So I need to bring the other one into the house and put the big one into the car.
It's @Sara-s vs. @richgem for the owner of this thread.
