My daughter's got the flu and feeling pretty bad. July and strain B is still going around. Something's not right.

Gym was closed last night, so I'm making up for that by going this morning.

 

Physical therapy this morning, followed by baking a bread. Owing to an air quality alert & a touch of astthma, I’m sticking to indoor activities today. So I just finished pouring a 3-lb. batch of shaving soap.

I will get out briefly, to water the plants, but I’ll be fine for the time that takes.

Busy day- archery in the morning, a doctor’s app’t in the afternoon (I’m fine) and then I came home & cut a 10-lb. block of goat milk soap base into 1 lb. blocks.

 

As soon as just one more reference picks up her phone, I'll be made an offer on the exact job I want.

 

How's she doing?

 

Prime Day was pretty good for me. I just set up a ROOMBA that works with Alexa (i.e. it responds to voice commnads) and can be scheduled from an app. That’s actually easier than scheduling from a base station, plus I don’t have to reset when the clocks are reset seasonally.

BTW, I named her Rosie.

 

Is that a reference to The Jetsons?

pretty good now, but it took quite a while to get over. Thankfully, nobody else contracted it.
