The other day I received a check in the mail from my health plan, I guess I overpaid on a prescription. Can you believe that? A refund? It was $1.15 now a year ago I would've thrown that check away and been done with it. Not now. Mobile deposit! One of the greatest things that the banking industry has ever done. Never left my chair, I'm sure my health plan was hoping I'd throw that check away.
Kerry, I continue to be amazed at the funds a company will spend for a refund such as this. I figure that if you never cash the refund, the company books will never balance.
Ed, Thats called bonuses. Now down the drain because the banks just made it easier. Dont throw away your mailbox money! Use your smartphones.
Bad news today... my friend's wife who had the double mastectomy is headed back to the hospital tomorrow. Massive post-op infection from a second surgery & implants. So, IV antibiotic and also further tests... they think they found a mass (or at least something) on her hip. Thoughts and prayers will be much appreicated.
I agree. The mobile deposit is a great tool. Only problem for me is my bank charges .50 per mobile deposit. So, that $1.15 would have netted me a total of .65. I would have thrown the check in the garbage. LOL.
I had my contact lens fitting, excellent! No issues at all. Very easy to put on/off. I can now read the fine print! But. My distance vision went from 20/20 to 20/25. So things are a bit blurry for now..
I have a number of bird feeders in my backyard. A momma Cardinal had one of her youngsters on an outing. The baby bird would open its mouth and the momma would put in some chewed food. Awesome.

It always feels strange when I work nights and come home and have a couple of beers at 7am. This week has been physically exhausting but last night/this morning I think I got quite a bit of work done which made me feel good and probably the best night so far.
