Hi folks. It’s been an exhausting day. I had to take my 82-year-old mother to the Small Claims court in New Brunswick, NJ today. This was about a discrepancy over an eBay purchase. I won’t go into all the details but 1)the problem actually exists between the seller and PayPal 2)the judge ruled for my mother and advised the plaintiff on how to start dealing with PayPal (which they should have done to begin with.)
Then there was that penguin that got bitten by a radioactive spider.... /sigh Spider-guin, Spider-guin, does whatever a penguin can!

As I wrote in another thread, PayPal is putting me through the ringer in trying to enter the current raffle here. I'll try to get it sorted out before Joanne's deadline. NB, NJ, eh? Long drive.
Sitting here in the middle of the night on my favorite forum, waiting for the one hour time travel to occur.
Yesterday was busy with home repairs. We replaced the TP roll-holder in the upstairs bathroom & replaced the lock on our front door with a Smart Lock. It makes life a bit easier (e.g. no fumbling for a key) and works with our home security system and with Amazon Alexa. That can be helpful, as I can open it or lock it by voice. (Given my mobility issues, that can allow me to avoid some pain.) Today I need to do the touch-ups; spackling some uncovered holes & sealing the edge around the new dead bolt.
