Hydrogen Peroxide and/or Witch Hazel as after shave

No, I don't want to start the old AV - anti AV war again, but I just made a discovery I'd like to share with you:

The problems:

1. Nobody really likes the scent of WH (generic)
2. My wife hates AV "Musk"

The solution for both problems:
Blend 40% AV "Musk" with 60% WH. The WH smell is gone and the AV scent is toned down to a pleasant level. You'll end up with a AS treatment that is really great for your skin. Perfect!

As always YMMV. If so, just start the fight again, just let me get out of your way first!

What does this mean in female language? If I say it's OK then it really is OK, but with females, everything needs a certain degree of interpretation. Luckily we have some females on this forum.

As for fragrances, I think "OK" means that its not bad.....but its not great.......just good (or tolerable?).

Down the road, however, if it grows on her, it could be a 'great'

Have been lurking on this forum long enough!

I did a new (blind) smell test for my wife today. Five AS, one of them my AV/WH blend, and one my brand new 4711 AS. She commented "I'm not sure about that" on the 4711, and "That's nice" on my AV/WH blend.

Here we go! Her taste apparently depends on the context, day of the week, moon phase, or any other uncontrollable variable. What do I know?!?
