I gave in yesterday and ordered a Merkur Futur adjustable safety razor. I found a place that had a gold plated one for just a few more dollars than the chrome. That was enough for me to be persuaded. Unfortunately, it must be coming on a slow boat from Germany since they said it would be delivered in the first week of December. Can't wait to compare it to my $ 20 non-adjustable Feather safety razor.

Personally I'm not a fan of adjustable. Never got one that I liked. But I held a futur the other day and I almost bought it. That is one nice looking/feeling razor. Enjoy!
