I had my little brother make me a scuttle.

    Hello all-


    My little brother is an aspiring ceramist, and I am an aspiring wet shaver.
    It was only natural to insist he manufacture me a scuttle, as it is something new for him, and necessary for me.

    Here are some pictures of his first prototype, It is a little small but two more are on the way with different dimensions and spouts. He has an Etsy account and I'm urging him to start selling his work, but as of now he is limited to firing everything at his high school. I created this thread because I thought people may enjoy the pictures, and offer comments if so inclined.

    I couldn't resist a test lather, so I whipped up some trusty raz0rock and the results where fantastic.
    This scuttle is easy to hold due to its small size, and holds more than enough soap, but the next few will be larger and even more lathertastic!

    Looks great to me. Just the right size for a good brush scuttle to keep your brush warm if you face lather.

    Thank you for the kind words guys! I am very proud of his work and he gets better every day. Your words are just further encouragement for him and thats why I created this thread.

    Should I also mention I got him to try DE shaving a couple nights ago :happy036:

    Well done. I'd only suggest to make the spout round so that you can put a plug (rubber or cork) in it to keep the heat in once the water has been put in. :)
