    For me, it's all about big brushes. I'm completely into BIG synthetics. I like their ability to make a lot of lather. I like how fast they dry. The bigger the better, especially for a head+face latherer. Here's my 2 favorites:

    Stirling Soap Company "KONG" (King KONG)
    Synthetic 26mm x 63mm - $14.99

    RazoRock F-400 Synthetic Shaving Brush - XXL 34MM - $24.99

    An informal, but compelling classification of brushes by knot diameter was given by (I think?) Andrew @Linuxguile .

    Carrier Class: >=34mm
    Battle Class(or Cruiser class): 30mm - 33mm
    Destroyer Class: 27mm - 29mm
    Frigate Class 24mm-26mm

    I'm a fan of big bore brushes, too. Here's The King by TSD Member Steve @Vlasta. It's 28 millimeters of fat badger goodness.

    Ok, I’ll play!

    The 30mm APShaveCo SynBad is definitely a favourite:

    I’m also a big fan of large Omega boar knots. These two are both 27mm, I believe:

    I also love big brushes. My Chubby 2 is my biggest brush, and as big as that thing is, I want a Chubby 3. For some reason, I find big brushes to be luxurious. I love my synthetics, but in the winter a badger soaked in warm water will give a very warm lather.

    I like big brushes too. I've moderated a little and seemed to have settled around 26mm for most but still have some 28-30mm brushes.

    22-26 mm with dense knots are my preference..

    After I take my Epsilon for it's maiden voyage I'll decide if I want a larger brush. It's 26 or 27 mm, 3mm isn't that big of a difference. There was a cool 30mm retro looking brush that I like the look of.
