He was seen on another forum. Not quoting, but as I recall the AD's got hold of him so he chose to step away.
I tend to enjoy those that are here and now. But.. I can understand why many folks come and go, it's part of life.
True to be sure, and for forums in general, not just The Shave Den. Looking at the oldest posts in some of the forums, virtually all the posters are long gone, as are those who were left behind to wonder where they went. Eventually I will vanish into the aether, as will you and all the others. Rather than missing them or worrying about them, I am just glad they were here in the first place, and glad that they will henceforth benefit from traditional shaving. Someday, The Shave Den and all the other wetshaving forums will disappear, to be replaced by whatever comes after forums. It's all good. The knowledge gained here, as well as the beneficial effects of the camaraderie, will remain. There is much more to life than wetshaving, though, and that is a good thing, not a bad thing. Peace everyone, and may the shaves be with you!
I enjoy all the members on TSD new and old. It is that balance of old members with all their knowledge and wisdom and new enthusiasm that keeps TSD fresh. Personally, I am still waiting for the wisdom to set in...
When you consider the amount of knowledge left behind in all of these posts and how it undoubtedly has helped each of us, well that's their legacy to us.
