    rick I'll make ya SCream!

    OK then....heres the deal.
Im trying to make a Tea Tree SCream and have done the following:

Milled down Olive Oil soap and added KMF unscented cream to it.
They married nicely and have a really thick texture.
I then added ...............drops (dont ask me cause I didnt count) of Tea Tree oil.
TOO MUCH OF IT, dahling !!!

The lather is nice and cooling but disappears after a minute or so.

What, if anything, can I add to the mix to stabilze the lather ?

I wish I could help you out, and maybe I could but I don't know a thing about making screams! However, if you need a testing department I am happy to oblige you. :D

Keep me posted. Your products are a SCREEEEAAAAM!!!!!

I broke a rarely used tub of DR Harris Lavender cream. It was way to hard, almost like a soap. What's the best way to mix in some water, or other ingredients and possibly make my own scream?

That'd be my approach, too. KMF is cheap; olive oil soap probably, too (though I honestly don't know). I'd call it a good gamble.

Rick, I don't know much about cream, but this is my uneducated suggestion....

either try with less drops, start with one and work your way up

or if you are using an essential oil, switch over to a fragrance oil instead.

I'm going to try to make some cream myself, maybe today, with directions that JoAnna gave me, so wish me luck, it's uncharted territory for me......

    How'd this work out?

Oh, and did you use plain olive oil soap?

I'm getting the urge to make another SCream, and this sounds promising...

    Mr I:

The batch is usable but I am still augmenting quite a bit with the KMF.
WAAAAAAAAAY too much tea tree oil in the batch.

I took one of CAR's Hydrolast cubes and milled it down, added the KMF unscented cream and EO, then let it marry together......just like my other SCreams.
Only trouble with the batch is too much EO.
It is a promising SCream, I must say ;)
