Slow & steady is a worthy mantra for shavers new to this realm…. :happy088:

I had similar experiences with that razor. I finally put mine away and went to straights. I thought it was easier to learn to strop than to bleed with my feather.

If you can master it you can shave with anything. It will get better with practice plus you will never forget what you did wrong.

I am glad to hear your head is still attached to your shoulders.

It happens! Remember to go slow and it will commit to muscle memory eventually. I shave hard to reach areas with my eyes closed so as to go by feel rather than what I am seeing in the mirror. Not sure this was your issue but feel to me of a razor to the skin in regards to angle and proper cut is like 100% of the task!

The neck is one of the areas my feather seemed to bite me. It think its because you change the angle of the blade during the stroke sometimes, but its easy to do. They do give a great shave, but are not a good choice when you are in a hurry.
