Not a bad deal Sir...The Clog - Pruf was introduced around 1941 and is for all intents and purposes is a refined Closed Comb version of the Open Comb Micromatic....They are equally as aggressive and are otherwise identical except for a couple of drain holes...There has been too much made of the OCMM...The Clog - Pruf was the pinnacle of Gem SEs in my books.....Unfortunately they live in the shadow of its older brother the OCMM.... ;)

We have a Stephan at work. He pronounces his name like this dude. So annoying.
image.jpeg Enjoy those Glog-Prufs. They're very nice razors.

Yeah, those Clog-Prufs are good razors. They should clean up nicely. Some Maas Polish will put the finishing touch on them.
    I love mine.

Remember that the MMs shave best with a very shallow angle, about 10-15 degrees, almost flat on the face. And, with a light touch. I am finishing up with my MM Bullet Tip this week. It is my birth era razor, introduced in 1947.

The Micromatics as the gentleman mentioned literally shave almost flat against the face....Bit different from a 1912...The MM are different from all other SEs in that sense...:p

Well I took everyone's advice and paid close attention to the angle with the micromatic this a.m. The results were a close and smooth shave! Thank You !!!!!!

This is a good thread. I have shaven with my MMOC before, but not my Clog Pruf. I also have a safety bar version of the Micromatic that I have never tried either. I guess I'll have to give them both a go soon.
