Well, I deviated from the OC focus today as I couldn't wait to try out my new Aristocrat. First, this is a gorgeous looking razor that just exudes class. The weight is substantial and when I put it on the scale, it came in at 68 grams. The blade exposure looked so minimal that I couldn't figure out how it could mow down my whiskers. I teamed it up with a pesonna blue lab blue and Stirling glacial lemon ice. There was zero tugging and pulling throughout the shave. It was just a smooth and efficient shave. No nicks and no cuts. One pass is all it took for a close and comfortable shave. I was expecting a very aggressive shave with a few nicks, but I was wrong. The Aristocrat is a real winner in every aspect and it just earned a spot in my rotation.
I think I'm going to use the Aristocrat for a couple of weeks in a row in November so I can get a better feel of it. What a dilemma! I have yet another razor the I feel I could use every day of the week. You've got to love this hobby.
