I wonder who coined the phrase "riding the razor's edge?"

I know I could "Google" it, but I like challenging my OWN mind (lol)

Anyone know the history WITHOUT looking it up??

 

I'm familiar with "Living on the edge", but not "riding the edge".

 

I've never heard of "riding the edge" in regards to shaving. Sounds VERY dangerous. I have heard of "riding the cap" in regards to shaving with a DE however. Could that be what your referring to?
