id this razor please

this was found in my mothers basement in the bottom of a old cabinet. my mom said she believed it was my grandfather's on my dads side


i did not notice any date stamp


would anyone have a recommendation on where to send it to get replated?

Looks like a Gillette fat handle tech.

Yep! That style, the "Early Tech", was made from 1938-1941.

It should clean up OK, looks like most of the plating is either gone, or will come off as you clean it up, but even with out the plating, they shine up nicely and make great shavers. I actually like the look of the exposed copper on the heads of those.
