Ida Update from Louisiana

    Darn hurricane struck on the 29th, exactly 16 years after Katrina. That sucked. But the levee/protection is much better now so minimal flooding. Lots of wind damage tho, some gusts were clocked at 180 mph.

    At my location it's been a matter of power. We lost it on Sunday last and didn't get it back till late Thursday evening. Not pleasant at all. Internet is still down so doing this on limited phone service.

    Hope everyone is ok. I'll be back just don't know when
