    Made my long intended trek to the nearest Walgreens and I am now replete in old school smells. I've added Old Spice, Pinaud Clubman, and Mennen Skin Bracer to my collection of Aqua Velva and Brut.

    • Old Spice I've never tried because my dad hated it for some reason. He was an Aqua Velva man.
    • Pinaud Clubman I've had before, but been out of for awhile. As I've said before, the smell cracks me up. What can I say? I love Andy Griffith and Mayberry.
    • Skin Bracer I've never had or even smelled as far as I can remember. Honestly, it smells sickening sweet right out of the bottle. But in for a penny, in for a pound as they say.
    Now if I can only find some of those goofy Avon bottles my mom used to foist upon me when I was a teenager...

    Oh and one more thing: All of these are strong enough, it doesn't even matter what the soap smells like. It's getting over powered and buried.

    I know they say that about Old Spice(the granpappy quote), but it might also be said about Clubman and AV. Maybe Skin-Bracer too, after all, Jack Palance clearly says in that classic ad of his, "Confidence is sexaaaaa, don't you think?"

    Old Spice is a nice scent. I recently started using Clubman and was really surprised how I like the scent. It also really lasts.

    I love Old Spice. It reminds me of my grandpa and my dad. My wife loves it because I've been using it longer than we've been together and it is what she is used to me smelling like. She's become a Bay Rum fan as well over the past couple of years.

    I find that too, Herm....(about Clubman). As for Old Spice, I may devote the summer of 2017 to that. I've already reserved next summer for Skin-Bracer.

    A year a ago I was cleaning the basement storage area and I found an old trunk with my high school and Army stuff in it. In the trunk I found a bottle of Hai Karate that I didn't open and chucked. I wish I hadn't done that. Nuts!
