Hard to beat synthetics for a quick lather with a small amount of soap. I really like the Razorock Monster and regular Plissoft, but I think my favorite is still my 24mm Edwin Jagger synthetic with the Muhle silver tip fibre knot. It is so soft on the face!

That Maggards synthetic is awesome! I also have the Stirling 22mm and is also really nice.

I have this one and like it to ... and the price is right. It's a 22mm and nice handle. The RazoRock Disruptor

Well, the legs look better than the face. Now, that would be a scary pic.

As for the brushes, the wife still loves the 26 mm, and I still like the 24mm. I'm still trying to get the hang of the synthetic. Some say it does break in a little. In what way does this break in, softens more? Or, does the backbone relax a little?

How does this one, the 22mm, compare to the others?

I love the bigger knots. It feels like getting slapped in the face with a cream pie.

Not a clue. I am still saving for a synthetic knot for an old travel brush with a messed-up boar knot. :)

My experience is that they pretty much are what they are what they are. Some people say they break in, but I just don't see it.
