And I ain't happy about it. A guy at work was clearing out his grandparents home and ran across a bunch of razors. He knew of my affliction and one day handed me a Fat Boy. The problem for me is he has since gotten into this whole shaving thing and I can't in good conscience hold on to his Grandpa's razor. But it's a Fat Boy!!! No! Give it back! My Precious! Sigh...I gotta give it back. Drat and spit.
You're a good man... Who wouldn't want to have his grandad's razor? You have that opportunity to make that happen. There are a bunch of unattached Fat Boys out in the wild still... thank goodness.
Fat Boys are decent razors, but I prefer to know I did the right thing with your workmate. Good deeds far outweigh in significance the pleasures of simply acquiring more desirable stuff...
Well done mate. Your a gentleman, you know it's the right thing to do. A fat boy is fat bot but a grandfathers razor its whole different thing. You've given him a connection to his grandfather, that means more than just a fat boy.
Just my own thoughts. I don't want a dead relative's (or living, for that matter) razor. There's no whispy nostalgia factor there for me. Could very well be that way for the coworker too. While it's nice of you to give it back to him, I have a hard time thinking that your coworker really does want it and just doesn't realize it yet. Not saying you should just keep it, but if you give it back the gift you may want to tell him he can get decent money on Ebay for it.
we need more people like you in this world, good for you, you should be proud of yourself. it feels good when we make an unselfish decision.
