Someone will be here to help soon, my picking sees: forged, made by hand, carbon steel, questions? contact me by email and something about a cabbage and good auction to all! :happy102 :happy102
Are you sure it's "cabbage"? I think it's "onion soup" But then my french isn't what it used to be... EDIT: Very interesting razor.. French variant of a Japanese razor?
Google's translator translates it as... "Vend small razor cut cabbage gross forge entirely made by hand. In a rapid carbon steel (Steel Tool) For further questions contact me by email Good bids at all" Steve's right - it's a cabbage grater.
Is that a pivot hole up near the tang? I've got a razor of similar size, but not a similar shape. The general consensus on mine is that it's a corn razor, but this one looks a bit too serious for that, maybe. If it shaves it would be an excellent size for trimming beards and moustaches - especially the Hercule Poirot type moustache... James.
My view on life... If you can put an edge on it, you can shave with it. Buy it up and shave that face of yours =-p It still looks sick.
ahh, shave with it, corns on your feet maybe :happy102 it's so small? Jimbo just imagine how long it would take you to shave your head with that. Mine would take...a very long time...starting at my fore head actually mine is a five head so even longer. Kind regards,
would make a nice skinning knife, for small game (squirrels). Was talking to a fellow yesterday who told me that not too long back a taxidermist was taking the blades from old straights and putting them in a fixed handle, for use in skiinning.
Hm.....All the small game I've dealt with you can just peel the skin off when done correctly. Not much need for a knife. Its an interesting idea though. Maybe the tazidermist is using it to "shave" any fat left on the skin once he takes it off. Just my $0.02
