You mother-in-law driving over a cliff while borrowing your new Mercedes.

 

Taking a Sunday afternoon spin in the Aston Martin DB5 while listening to Shirley Bassey tunes...after a nice shave, of course.

 

Assuming that the Mercedes is insured, that would be serendipity.

Never heard that one. Not a big CCR fan they were just playing on the radio and I only recently got really interested in Cash.

 

I don't think that Lodi was one of their bigger hits, but it's a cool song, imho.

Lodi, NJ is probably a far worse place just for being in NJ.

 

Having been through Lodi, CA. many times, the idea of being stranded there for any extended period of time would be cause for writing a tuneful lament.

 

So basically, any town named Lodi is just not some place one wants to be stuck.
