Is Anyone Familiar with Solingen Travel DE?

I found this razor / mirror travel combo and it looks interesting. In your opinion, is it worth having or should I pass?

It says gently used. I haven't bought it yet but I'm really thinking about it. Would like to know which it is.

It was a steal and, I think, an off-brand of Merkur.

 

It was shipped this morning, so I should receive it by Tuesday. I'll post more pics of it then and see if I can get more information. Something told me to grab it.

Thanks! I'm glad I made a good decision. I look forward to getting it. I was just saying in another thread that my travel kit would change. This is not what I meant but it will be part of my new travel kit.

 

If it says "Made in Germany" on the base plate that implies it is pre-ww II. Or it may say "West Germany" on the base plate. Or have no markings. Interesting in any case. The zipper on the case looks to be in excellent condition.

 

Thanks! I'll post the other pics when I get a chance. The case zips shut pretty well, from what I can see. I don't see any markings on the razor in the pics but will see when I get it.
