Sweet almond (marzipan scent) or were you looking for just a nutty type scent? If the former, many Italian shave soaps will fit that scent profile. Razorock p.160 is the veggie one that springs to mind. (I think it's a vegan formula. Haven't checked in a while). Edit: it's tallow based.
This will sound weird but maybe Haslinger Coconut? It smells more like almond than coconut to me. It's a light scent and I think Haslinger recently went to a Vegan forumla.
Ok, I'll post a list of vegetal shaving soaps I found in google searches. I'm trying to find a very 'lightly' scented soap that will go away or just not be detectable after my face dries. I don't want a tangy 'amaretto' smell. I would rather have a more smooth, nutty smell with a hint of vanilla and it must be 'faint', not heavy. I will also accept recommendations for a very faint vanilla shaving soap if one doesn't exist for a nutty-vanilla type scent. Col. Conk - Almond Wholly Kaw - Almond Medley D.R. Perhaps the Cella Organic? I have not tried it yet, but it's scent is described as pleasant but delicate, and it does contain sweet almond oil. I'd guess that it is significantly more subtle than the regular version, if it has an almond or vanilla notion to it at all. *I found more reviews on this and it seems it does not have an almond scent at all.
Anything with sweet almond scent is usually going to be a nutty cherry/marzipan scent. Tim is looking for bitter almond scented stuff I think.
Might be best off just buying a hazelnut vanilla concentrated oil and cutting it with witch hazel and glycerin. Edit: forgot you were looking for soap. Doh!
