That my future bride and I saw the Jimi Hendrix Experience at the old Spectrum in Philadelphia. An amazing performance that's seared into my brain. (may have something to do with the, ahem, chemical enhancements that were popular at the time!)

    I Don't Live Today
    Hear My Train A Coming
    Stone Free
    Star Spangled Banner
    Purple Haze
    VooDoo Child

Still have the ticket stubs and the bride! We got married in '71 after my hitch in the service.

I saw Jimmy with his trio at the Whiskey a Go Go in Hollywood. The way they filled that venue with sound, they sounded like a quintet.
