Italian adventure

I need another brush like i need a hole in my head. Me and my wife have been in bologna italy for 3 weeks for her to get a medical treatment thats not offered in the usa.

Well omega brushes are made in bologna and i had to take something home to remember this trip. What could be more fitting then an omega boar made in bologna with the italian flag.



I found it in a italian barber shop. Unfortunately we leave tomorrow so i dont have time to get a shave from a real italian barber. They love proraso products over here.

 

Wow, I just used Proraso Green soap this morning and I have an Omega 49 brush which I need to use more often.

 

I have 3 other omega boars and love using them but this one will hold a special place in my heart.

The barber barely spoke english but he said its the best boar knot omega makes. Its a heavier brush then the pro 49. I cant wait to break it in.

 

Extra special and I hope the treatment is successful.

Secondly, I'm of Italian descent and happened to shave this morning using Poraso Green soap and my old Omega beechwood boar, so I'm feeling your vibe.

Lastly, let us know how that new brush performs when you get a chance. It's a beauty.

Well we are back in north carolina. Been a long trip.

Got to use my brush first thing when we returned. The softest boar knot ive felt out of the box. Now got to break it in.

 

Got my first boar brush a couple weeks ago. Didn't really like it at first, but it seems to improve with every shave.
