Just finished using it. The aroma was very good, not too overpowering. Harder than I expected probably should be considered a soap but may take few uses to " loosen up"
It didn't lather up as much as" load the brush", I face lather so the first application was fairly thick I watered the brush a little for the 2nd application and re-applied some soap ( 6 swirls or so) then it was fine. It's a VERY LARGE tub (7.4 oz) compared to like RazoRock at 4.2 oz

Is it a product targeting tourists (since the text is all in English)?

The other side of the tub is in Italian. It came from a shop in Fluorence, Italy (The Perfumery) they had mostly women' s perfumes but some cologne and soaps

The ingredient list is non-existent! just what you see in the picture. The product is OK not very easy to lather, I need to try bowl lathering with it. The scent is OK also, not too overpowering. would not recommend to a newbie because of the difficulty lathering. I bounce back and forth between SR and DE so I've tried it with both, it performs well just hard to get the right consistency.

It is a famous Italian soap, SMN, but very expensive. Kudos to your wife for this great gift
By the way, I heard their AS splashes are magnificent.

I said, that for me the soap is much too expensive. No matter how good a soap may be, but 71$ are way too much.
