So if anyone has looked up my introduction post, I am Italian and German (the best shave combination you could possibly have). I have purchased Italian soaps Proraso Green, Razorock XXX (limited edition), and Tcheon Fung Sing Sottozero Forte. Any suggestions of other Italian soaps to try?
Cella is a classic and a good soap. Valobra and Vito's are a couple more. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I'm going to save you all the time possible: The best German soaps are (in order), Klar, Tabac, Haslinger The best Italian soaps are (in order), pannacrema nuavia, saponificio varesino, tcheon fung Please...look these up. Buy, trade, sell your soul for them if you have to...these are what you want.
I Use Vitos & Valobra Both 1st Rate Italian Tallow Soaps..These Tallow Soaps are Traditional Recipe's Like Haslinger Mention Above..That is to Say they are Tallow Based..Razorock So Called Tallow Soap isn't a Traditional Tallow Soap..Its a Vegie Soap with So Called Tallow Oil Added like a Lot of So Called Tallow Soaps these Days..Italian Tallow Soaps are Fantastic.. Billy..
I am a Traditional Tallow Head..These are Just about the Only Soaps I Use these Days after Whittling through many Soaps.. Haslinger Valobra Vitos Monsavon Bol Billy..
Good to know. I am interested in all of the suggestions and hope to return the favor as I get my wet shaving feet under me.
That reminds me...I've got an unopened Tcheon Fung that has somehow escaped being used for a year or more... tomorrow
I'll mention two Italian soaps and two German soaps which I love. Italian: 1) Cella 2) Tcheon Fung Sing Sottozero German: 1) Tabac 2) Golddachs Spezial There are actually more from both countries but I can only think of these!
If you were half Hungarian, would you want to use Hungarian shave soap? Just kidding. Purchase the BEST soap, regardless of the country of origin.
Thanks Billy. I was totally unaware that's how many tallow soaps get "tallow" claim in there name of listed ingredients .
Thanks Jeff. I had never heard of Golddachs. I will have to find some to try out. I hope you are well buddy. Back to OP Top Italian I have tried - Cella - Antique Di Barberie Colla German - Tabac - Spiek
As I said, I was just kidding. I love German Soaps: Klar Kabinett, Dusy Kabinett and Italian Soaps: I Coloniali, Proraso Cream.
