Gentlemen, Questions about Iwasaki razor numbers and grinds appear fairly often, so I thought that I’d post this Iwasaki brochure that Takeshi Aoki sent me many years ago. The numbers and grinds are listed, I assume those without a grind (1/2, 1/4) are full hollow. Hope this helps the Iwasaki shoppers!
Honestly the most interesting part of this is the pic at the bottom showing the difference between a Bellied Hollow (L) grind and a Double Concave Grind (M) (aka George Korn Patent) I am so saving this, as I have tried explaining it multiple times, this gives me a visual reference...
