Up early to deal with the snow. I was tempted to go with a soap that would match the current weather conditions that I have to deal with while I shovel. Blinding white! I thought of Ginger’s Garden Snow Bliss. I don’t know if I would categorize shoveling approximate 20 inches of snow blissful.

As a result I chose Los Jabones de Joserra Kilix which has the following scent profile.
“A deep and mysterious profile opening with Bergamot and Cardamom leading in to an Iris, Heliotrope and Violet heart all settling on a base of Cedar Wood, Sandalwood, Amber, Oud and Tonka Bean.”

The Drew Dick quarter hollow blade easily took care of this morning’s whiskers. I am feeling super smooth and will have whiffs of a nice warming scent as I shovel. Fun times for sure!

I hope you all have a great day gentlemen. Those of you in the northeast, slow and easy is the term of the day. Be safe out there.

Nope, just follow Tri-State Weather on FB. Extremely reliable for years. Extremely accurate in his call for this storm.

His scent was not of cigar smoke but of the leaves after they were cured.

Another beauty this morning. I'm glad Doc Ezlovan brought his Oro Valley into the Stoylin persuasion of shave life. A little tobacco, a little leather among other goodies. 2 healthy passes. This time I didn't need to do any loading before the second pass. Excellent all around. How excellent. The answer after station identification. This is The Shave Den.(Vintage sound of NBC Peacock in the background). And now back to me. No cuts, no Knicks. Again the Puros came on a bit strong, bit it's calming down now. Great shave. Outta This World Excellent. (Man, I miss that NBC Peacock music).

Oh ok....just like the Razorock Puros I used this weekend(aftershave). Curing helps, all right.

Awesome shave Joe. I went outside and they plowed my street. My car is blocked by the surrounding snow. I am not going to bother digging out. I will wait a few days for the Temps to get warmer this week.

Rex Envoy/Schick Proline. Credit Josh aka Subie Shaves for the idea. Very mild but reasonably efficient. I'd prefer more exposure. Clean up with the similarly equipped Mark Cross which has a bit more blade to work with [IMG]

That Subie is very creative. I have never tried any of his creative blade arrangements. If figure if I am going to put in that much work to adapt the blades, I might as well get a strop and go full on straight edge :)

    Straight Razor Shave #344
    10/8 Max Sprecher
    Catie"s Bubbles Tuxedo Brush
    Cella SS
    Old Spice AS
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 25.5 hrs

This was a late morning shave so I decided to bring out the Cella. It lathers well and I like the cherry/almond scent. The brush whipped the Cella into a nice, thin, creamy, and slick lather. WTG and ATG passes gave me a close, comfortable errorless shave. The alum confirmed it with negligible feedback. Ended the shave with the witch hazel and the Old Spice aftershave. I am staying in today. Enjoy your day!
