I used my Dovo Ebenholz 5/8 Silver Steel Straight Razor w/Ebony Scales today and I'm a total newb. I only got one teeny tiny weeper that went away by pass 2. Feeling better now?

I didn't say I shaved my whole face with it. I'm not TOTALLY insane. :D

Rich, if I'd ever cut myself with any razor, it's a disaster. Even a weeper is enough for me to get queezy. Seriously, I always get terrible reactions when that happens.

Just yourself or blood on others too? How about animal wounds? A lot of people feel the same way Jeff. Perfectly understandable.

just on myself, Rich--although, I was really grossed out when my brother-in-law cut himself shaving one day.

It should fade with time, Mike.

They make that Mederma stuff, to reduce the appearance of scars. I bought some, but I'm not real sure if it works.

Let me know what you think of the stuff. I don't wanna be walking around looking like the Phantom of the Shave Den ;)

Tell that cute l'il rascal of yours that it's a "fencing" scar....Matter of honor & all that....

    Or....

Ya got it "wrassling' a big/gigantic bull alligator down in Florida & that the Gator definitely got the worst of the "deal"!!! Gator's dead 'n Dad's Alive 'n kicking !

You are his Hero, so a few "battle" scars will make'ya a better Dad.

(Heck, I mean if yer gonna carrying a scar might as well make the most of it)

Well, in there lies the problem. I won't be able to tell you how well it works. Cause you are suppose to use it like 3 times a day, and I am not the type to remember to do that everyday.

Besides the stuff makes my skin itch. :ashamed001

But I can sell you the Mederma, for cheap.

120 grit sandpaper should do it. :D

Sorry to see that scar. It should diminish over time since that is a high skin renewal area. Tough to say.

Ahh, yes... I've gotten a few of those. They do indeed fade with time.

I'm actually in the middle of trying to make more ... I've got a Feather ACD-N that I'm trying out for the first time this week. More to follow on it.
