Kampfe Star Case Restore

@jimjo1031 , thanks for the inspiration. I just finished my case restore. I was able to just clean up the interior. I removed the covering, sanded, and painted the exterior. I created a new hinge and repaired the snap. It was all worth it. Thanks again for the nudge.

Thank you. It was going to either be a restoration or a demolition. I am glad it turned out well. Your success spawned mine.

 

If you need a thin cloth for like inside hinge covers, Walmart has a decent selection of colored ones, $1.00 each for almost 2 square feet. It's also the same material I use to make rear cloth hinges. It'll also work on restorations where a thin lining material has to be used.
