I've been kinda looking around to see if I can upgrade from a BK4 which has been an amazing brush for the past year. It did shed a couple of bristles from time to time, but that didn't bother me. Now, I've been wondering how a Kent T8 stacks up against the BK8 (and the BK4). I'm not going to abandon the BK4, just add something a bit bigger and a bit more backbone. What can you guys tell me about these brushes?

I use the T8 in Pure Badger for about 10 years now and it´s one of my favorite brushes.

Dunno about the backbone do, because it gets more fluffy by the year.... But that's how I like it :D

I don't see the T8 on the Kent site.

I'm awaiting an H8 (should be here this week!). The H8 is best badger in a (faux) horn handle.

    What's a T8?

Tom I don't own one, but after a quick search, I do believe the "T" is for Tortoiseshell handle where your "H" stands for Horn.

    Kent T8 here.
