There is very little discussion about a superb product that needs more attention. Kiehl's Lite Flite shave cream is definitely on of the best creams out there for use with a brush. It includes some menthol and camphor, so it is very cooling and soothing as you shave. But that's the least of it. This cream is so lubricating and cushioning. Adding to the superb protective properties of this cream, the hairs really stand up allowing for an extremely close and comfortable shave. I have used many other soaps and creams, including Truefitt & Hill, NancyBoy, Tabac, Cremo, Mama Bear, just to name a few of the other top products. In my opinion, Lite Flite surpasses all of these other other products considering the closeness of the shave, the hair raising properties, lubrication, and cushioning. There is really nothing more than one could want out of a cream or soap that Lite Flite doesn't deliver. The stuff is super concentrated, so a jar will last a long time. You'll want to give this a try if you haven't already. You cannot go wrong with this product. I do not care for the other Kiehl products (Blue eagle, white eagle, green eagle) because they are brushless and really don't match all that well to the wet shaving process. In a pinch, they will do, but they just don't compare to the Lite Flite in any way. The Lite Flite is a completely different experience in closeness and comfort.
I have used some Kiehl's stuff in the past when I was starting to look for some shaving help with the way the cartridges were chewing me up. Actually 1st place i bought a alum from. $17.50 for a 4.5 oz jar Good see more companies catering to wetshavers.
The scent is a bit odd but the performance of the cream is nice. The camphor is a nice touch, too. I tend to not use it often only because of the fragrance (or lack thereof).
