A long time ago I got a small spray bottle sample of this stuff. 'Strong' would not even begin to decribe it's potency. Without knowing anything about this fragrance I happily proceeded to give myself 3 generous blasts in the chest, as I would with any atomizer cologne, and headed off to work one morning. I spent the next 8 hours in Knize hell vowing to never touch this foul nuclear strength liquid again! Several months went by and I started seeing a lot of positive comments from gents who really enjoy this stuff when worn properly. Being the curious one that I am, started considering giving it a second chance, maybe I was missing out on something good. After a test sniff here and there while visiting Enchante, I finally brought a bottle home with me (a very generous gift from a good friend... that's another story) to see what I was missing. During that transport process our good buddy Raf declared that I was forbidden from opening the bottle in his car... it was like we were in a hazmat convoy getting back from accross town I have to admit, when applied in the right amount this stuff really is a quality fragrance. I really enjoy my bottle being a splash and not the atomizer. I never have been a fan of sprays as I feel I get better control of where the fragrance goes and how much I'm applying. The initial blast of scent is pretty strong but it dries down to a really nice warm leather aroma that wears beautifully all day long. Certainly a unique scent but I am really enjoying it. While the MSRP on this stuff is not cheap, a bottle will last you a LONG time. Definately worth it IMHO. Bottom line: Respect it's power, use responsibly, and enjoy!
EXACTLY ! My first experience was quite similar. I had a decant of the stuff and I threw it into my Dopp kit for our getaway to Monterey last year. Early one morning (while the girls slept) I decided to head out to the links to try a find a game. Splashed my face, deo on the pits and 3-5 spritzes of K-10 to the chest and off I went. 5 hours later I was so sick of the scent I vowed never to use it again. It was all I could do not to run into the ocean to try and get it off me. I showered and still it lingered. Flash forward...... did some research and found gents with K-10 experience warning of the potency. Now its 1 spritz only and its ALL good. I have never owned such a complex and intriguing scent. I will always have this around.
Sorry guys but I still find it disgusting. I have tried it twice over the last 3 years and just can't wear it.
