Haven't heard of it, but check the directions. For example, the Trader Joes directions say "apply a thin transparent layer, shave as normal" or something to those effects. If the directions say something about creating lather, it should work. I have no idea on the quality because I haven't used it.
High end men's cosmetics line similar in price to products like Jack black, anthony logistics, ect.. I have seen it for sale at Nordstroms. Never used it, there are plenty of creams I know and like it.
Picked up a tube of Alba Moisturizing Cream Shave Mango Vanilla. does not talk about creating a lather but does not say anything about non-foam like the last tube did. Will write in tomorrow morning with my findings.
How about either of these two products, do either of these lather at all? They are both available in my area.
Ah, will exchange tomorrow morning. Does it lather well? After my first cream I am sick of creams that don't lather. I want something that lathers.
If you have a mall nearby, it probably has a Bath and Body Works. Pick up a tube of C.O. Bigelow shave cream (the metal tube in a green box which is made by Proraso.) You won't be sorry. Just don't get the plastic tube gel, it's just goo.
Get the C.O.Bigelow from Bath and Body Works, JB. Every mall has a BBW. The big, green, shiny tube is $10, and lathers. And pick up the Kiss My Face. Yes, it lathers, and many people keep a bottle on hand.
Got it Queen, will go get. Will need to take a detour on the way home from work in order to do. I look foward to trying some of the TSD creams, forum member have told me that they are excellent, best of the best
YES Kiss My Face lathers and performs quite well. Burt's Bees you have pictured is JUNK and doesn't lather. Bigelow is good stuff. Ivory soap would lather better than some of this stuff you are trying to use.
Lab Series is junk. KMF is inexpensive and lathers very well, but I haven't tried it and don't want to as I don't like products replete with EOs.
It's already been said, but I'll add my .02 as well. Lab Series is marketed toward that infamous metrosexual culture we're always hearing about. It's expensive, does not lather and by all accounts performs very mediocre though I have read where some guys like it. I took a sniff of it once in a store and it smells like peanuts which is kind of weird. Alba, which is Trader Joes brand does not lather very well and shaves average to slightly above by reviews I've read. Full disclosure: I have not shaved either of these two products. KMF does lather and provides a very nice shave. It is also handy in a superlather concoction and is very cheap at about 7 bucks. It comes in a few scents: Lime, Vanilla, Lavender etc and an unscented version. However none of them have a very strong odor and it fades almost immediately anyway. Of the three this is the one I would recommend.
