    I wondered about that, and thought they seemed like they should be similar. But just getting started with the vintage razors, I wasn't sure. Thanks for the info.

    Honestly nothing better than finding great deals in the wild...IMO.

    Just wait til you cross over to the darkside (straights)...that's a whole new world of hunting..lol.

    Definitely get's a person pumped when you find some great deals in the wild.

    Straights have piqued my interest as well, but hoping to learn a bit more about DEs at least first.

    That's okay, it's not mandatory and it need not be elaborate. At the very least checkout the forum. You'll see first hand mostly with photos how guys are putting their gear together to achieve some wonderful shaves. :happy088:

    Hey all, sorry for the delayed update. My wife tried out the razor last week and said that it did the job. Though she didn't seem as enthusiastic about shaving with a safety razor as I am. Lol.
