lapping stones

    not my favorite thing to do but still rewarding
    i got some Dan's Arkansas seconds that need some love
    some more than others
    very happy it is not in the 100's today
    surgical black done!
    minimal work done on these, some have saw marks
    it is much faster the second time around, working rough stones

    .... back to the grind

    I got the 60 grit work done, along with starting chamfers,
    usually takes the longest and most sweat.

    Started the 120 grit work. Dried then re pencil hatch marked to recheck flatness.
    I have a few with low corners that I’m going leave low. No use sacrificing 95% of face for 5% low spots, They are in corners and won’t see much action.
