I'm not sure it will be as much fun as my Gillette fat boy, but it does sound interesting. What do you think? http://www.nbcnews.com/tech/gadgets/why-shave-steel-when-you-can-have-laser-razor-n435041
I don't know if I'd trust it. I can imagine getting something akin to an extremely bad sunburn... of course I could just be paranoid.
I guess you missed this thread? http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/the-skarp-lazer-razor-kickstarter.47180/
I'm dubious about the effectiveness of this razor. They say it doesn't "burn" off the whiskers and it runs for a month on a single AAA battery. They claim the follicle releases at a certain wavelength of light. That sounds too good to be true. I'll wait and see if it succeeds before even considering buying one.
I just saw an ad for this on TV for the first time. I'm wondering how effective it will be on whiskers. My impression was that certain skin types can only handle a certain amount of laser, while others can take a lot more. This was why I thought that things like the NONO were less powerful than the treatment you might get through a professional electrolysis. So, I wonder how this can be effective without burning some people.
