Lavanda shaving cream - awesome, simply awesome!

My man Phil in L.A. sure knows his stuff - he started selling some fabulous creams and soaps a while back, and Lavanda from Portugal is one of these great items. We traded some stuff recently, and I received a tube of this wonderful cream from him.

Ease of lathering: 10/10--In a second, a mountain of rich, beautiful lather!

Longevity of lather: 10/10--You can do 20 passes with this stuff!

General skincare: 9/10--Amazing. Even more soothing than Musgo Real. Better skin protection.

Scent: 10/10--Lavender with citrus mixed together. I friggin' love it!

Price: 9/10--Very reasonably-priced.

Would I buy again: 10/10--Most definitely. It's so good.

Lavanda is made by the same company as Musgo Real, and was discontinued for a while, but it was re-formulated (I never tried the original version) and brought back to the market. I personally think this cream beats the Musgo in every way - it's easier to lather, it smells nicer, and it gives a more comfortable post-shave feeling to the skin. Thanks again so much, Phil!

I've used the Lavanda cream twice since it arrived, and it's exceptionally good - it's probably the slickest cream I've used. I also love the fragrance - it's not pure lavender, but is quite complex, and pretty much a milder version of the cologne/aftershave fragrance (which is itself fantastic).

I purchased some 444 aftershave balm/gel from theportugalonlineshop.com about 10 days ago and now I wish that I would have thrown in a tube of Lavanda Shaving cream as it is priced at only $5.88 a tube. Maybe next time.

 

Does this have menthol like old version ?

No. It hasn't got any. However, it's still very enjoyable.

I got a tube and the aftershave/cologne from Bullgoose,all I can say is wow.I've been caught several times by SWMBO sniffing the bottle and the shave cream is just wonderful.

 

I have been using this cream for the first time now.

While the quality is higher end, I am not enthusiastic about the scent. De gustis coloribusque...

 

I just got a tube from Phil at BG. Haven't tried it yet now I'm really looking forward to it.
