I mix the Pinaud Lime Sec with Superior 70 Bay Rum and it tones down that 'candy sweetness' giving you an interesting island mix. One part lime sec to two parts bay rum.

If I want a sweet-smelling fruit, I'll just pack sugar around the perimeter of the thing.

I had also gotten samples of Lime Ice Sage from PAA that I really liked but procrastinated on getting. Looking at their sight apparently they that scent has been discontinued... Maybe you could find it out there somewhere.

I have enjoyed Pinaud- both Lime Sec & Citrus Musk. The Citrus Musk is not a musky scent, more of a citrus lime, but it is not as sweet as the Lime Sec.

The Col. Conk Lime soap is OK. I improved it a ton by melting it and dropping in a puck of Williams Mug soap. Drizzled in some Lime Booster AS too.
The Barber Shop Classics Booster Iced Lime has a sweet lime scent with a nice menthol boost.

Too bad Kiss My Face doesn't make a shave soap. Their Key Lime Shave cream has a very nice Key Lime Pie scent.

    TSD Lime anything rocks.

Stirling Gin and Tonic is very lime forward without being a bowl of candy.

Yes it sure is. I have the Gin & Tonic on the Rocks but even through the menthol the lime jumps out at you!

As for soap Razorock essential oil of lime is pretty darn good. Smells good enough to eat. Inexpensive and performs wonderfully.

First Canadian makes a nice Lime. Castle Forbes makes a very realistic lime. And Captains Choice makes a great bay rum based lime.

Could also try the Maggard's. It's got tallow in it, if you're into that.

I love Limenthol, but I don't think it is being made anymore. At least, it isn't currently available on their site.

I second Castle Forbes. To me, soap is great, you need even less than a soap to make a huge lather and the scent is amazing! I just get the tips barely frosted with cream and it makes a huge amount of lather. Coming in a 200gr container doesn't hurt and I wouldn't be surprised if I get over 400 shaves with it. I suspect I am using less than 0.5 gr for each shave.

Castle IS real because they only use essential oil from the fruit.

    I can recommend two:
Mystic Water (a bit sweetish) and
    Mike's Natural.
    Aftershave is a no-brainer:

I agree, after growing up in Florida, and sampling native Key Lime pies in Key West and Key Biscayne, it reminds me of that every time I use it. I can imagine that is what Hemmingway used to smell while he was sipping his scotch and writing.
