Hey guys, I know ive already been on this forum for a week or two, but being a relatively new wetshaver it would be great to meet and talk to some veteran shavers, ive learnt a lot from people on the forum like Jeff! Sent from my Redmi S2 using Tapatalk
Welcome aboard! We never stop talking about shaving around here. LOL Check out the 30 Day Crew. The link to that thread is below in my signature. We have lots of veteran guys who can answer any and every question you have, along with newbies who are working out technique, lots of pictures of great gear and a whole lot of chatter about everything else! Glad to have you along for the ride!
You will find almost everyone here will answer any questions you may have, sometimes with very strong opinions. The hard truth is what works for me may not work for you. If you have specific questions, a quick search of the forum will probably show you discussions about it. If you are trying to figure out what the questions are, that is a bit different. The 30 day rule and focus group will help. If you are feeling intimidated, don't be, we all started where you are now. I have been a wet shaver for more than 30 years and learn something new all the time.
I took a different meaning from your statement. IRL? For folks that grew up before everything had a computer chip, "In Real Life" was how we did ...everything? If that's what you are looking for it does happen. The Meet Ups are not numerous, not often, and not in your area. Well, I don't know where you are, but they haven't happened near me on the U.S. Gulf coast.. Couple years ago a proposed gathering was discussed, then hurricane season got busy. TLDR; Meet up? Plan one in your area!
Oh lol, a meet-up wont really be possible, i live in South Africa Sent from my Redmi S2 using Tapatalk
Welcome! I'll throw in another good word for the 30 Day Crew. We love to talk about shaving and pretty much anything else. Stop by and check it out! I turned down an invitation to spend a few weeks in South Africa with a college friend at his family home. I wish I had been more adventurous back then. You live in a beautiful and very interesting part of the world.
Glad you found TSD, welcome. This is a good place with good folks. Hope you join in the conversations!
