This Egyptian made 3 piece Lord razor looks almost like a direct clone of the late model Gillette Techs, the models sans the cap blade slot holders and cutouts in the triangle under the blade, and as such shaves very much like one. For those that have used the both the older and newer Techs know what I'm talking about though, for some reason the older Techs with the cutouts seems to shave just a touch better. So how does this one shave? Nice really, it's a mild razor that would be great for a newbie looking to start D/E shaving, and at a price that can't be beat. I picked mine up for $8.00 from Amazon, it included 1 Lord blade, and came on a cardboard blister pack. Construction is pretty good, but the is head lighter than optimal, and the knurled aluminum handle makes it a touch tail heavy, that in turn requires just a little pressure on the razor head while shaving. Like all 3 piece razors, care must be given when changing the blades, and always be sure there is even blade exposure when tightening down the cap. So what you end up with is a newbie and wallet friendly Tech clone, that a veteran wetshaver could load up a Feather and get a nice shave too! Questions and comments about the Lord Tech Clone?
