I was on a work trip the past couple weeks and took my Lord L6 with me. It's a razor I've had for quite a while but haven't used all that much. Whenever I have it's worked fine. I've gained an appreciation for it using it exclusively for a bit though. It's mild but efficient enough to get me pretty close to BBS with no irritation. Compared to an EJ DE89 or Merkur 34c, I'd say it feels slightly milder but is just as efficient. The blade is always well-centered with no need to mess with it. If I weren't a daily shaver I might not like it quite as much but it's a good fit for me, and the price is right. I took a look to see how much they go for these days and saw they're still available under $6. It would make an excellent first razor for someone who just wants to try out a DE without sinking too much cash in their first kit.
