I'm quite chuffed to have bought what I believe might be a Luna (1909 ish) double ring clone. I'm waiting for it to be posted. The comb has 13 prongs instead of 14. I know they did three different handle's, or rather, the bit on the bottom that untwists and comes off. What is that called? Anyway it was £13.50, it's not in a Luna case and I would love one. I think this is pretty rare, but maybe it's not popular because it's not Gillette. Has anyone got one? What do you think?
It looks good to me. If it shaves well, and is built well, I wouldn't care if it had Gillette stamped on it.
I have an old type clone with 13 teeth also. It has no markings on it to identify it. I'll see if I can find a pic
Clearly not a double ring clone but interesting. I cleaned it up since but don't have any after pics. I can take some after I get home this afternoon
The head is very worn in the pictures provided; it looks like it has been well used which hopefully means it's a great shave. It will need re-plating.
