1. other than the A/S seem watered down with less burn..is there any difference in A/s and cologne?
  2. Cologne's are designed to provide fragerance. Aftershaves are designed to kill nasties left on your face after shaving and sometimes provide skin care and scent.

Cologne technically referes to a solution of fragerant oils (essential oils, fragerance oil, or a blend of the two) at a certain concentration range. If you apply cologne like an aftershave, you'll have an overpowering scent all day. Lower concentrations have other names like Eu De Cologne, Eu De Toilet, Eu De Parfume, etc. Some of the lower concetration versions overlap on scent level with stronger scented aftershaves.
  3. aftershave is a milder scent of the colonge, aftershave is as i said milder and doe,s not last as long as colonge and is cheaper than colonge as colonge is stronger in the top, middle, and bottom, note,s of the oil scent, and its the bottom notes in the colonge that is the longer lasting so really the difrence is aftershave is a milder strength and does not last as long in my expirience and the colonge is stronger and so you nead less and it lastes longer so really better value for money as you will find in most cases thair is not a great money difrence, but a big difrence in the length of sent left on you,r body,so for me go for colonge if you can aford it ,but that does not mean that you should not purcher aftershave i have bouth and if not going out of dore,s will use aftershave but going out and about colonge to stay nice and fresh for longer time hope this help,s as this is only my opinion and thair will be difrent opinion,s out thair im shure,at the end of the day just enjoy you,r aftershave or colonge.:D
  4. Aftershave - antisceptic and skin toner, sometimes also provides a moisturizer. If it has any scent, it's very mild and fades quickly.

Eau de Cologne / Eau do Toilette / Eau de Parfume - listed in order of increasing concentration, these are combinations of oils and various chemicals intended to smell good.
  5. thanks for the info fellas
