The NEW SC Is probably the best razor in the bunch, in terms of actually shaving. I hope once you get over Fat boy Fever you give it a shot
Great score! I need friends like that. For me I need to ride the cap to get a decent shave from open combs. And very very light pressure I have some shicks I haven’t shaved with yet. So many razors so little time.
I used to be a "Fat Boy on 5" guy. I even had a shirt made that said FATBOY ON 5 LOL Having said that, I had my 59 model replated and will never part with it. The Schicks are nice too...i especially like that red white and blue striped one!
I think that riding the cap is by design. If you don't you get rake lines in the lather. I had to adjust my angle of attack, so to speak, when I started with the NEW models. Definitely noticeable
Shaved the neck this morning with the New SC and a Nacet. Smooth as butter. All those Gillette three piece razors from that era are good shavers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
