Interesting razor, Jason. I immediately thought of the Cooper, myself. If the blade is secure, a seasoned shaver, such as yourself, shouldn't have any problems getting a great shave.

Thanks, Joe. Was headed out the door with Dr. Mrs. Primo. Word of advice: Do NOT overspray Amouage perfumes just before getting in a car with your spouse. :rolleyes005:

Razor: JR Torrey Celebrated Hollow Ground
Brush: CRD Sky Dragon 26 mm Synthetic
    Lather: Loose Screw Uncomfortably Numb
    Aftershave: Aqua Velva Musk
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Tea Tree Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Fabulous Sunday morning shave. Once again I am up early as my son has a 9:00 lacrosse game. I enjoy watching him play. The JR Torrey, recently lapping paper honed, delivered a smooth and comfortable shave. Three passes for the win.

The remainder of my day will focus on more outdoors work around the house. It is going to be a very nice day here on LI.

    Have a great day gentlemen.

Ah the Yutes! You feel old now, I wonder how you will feel after the first few day of boot camp Myles? ;) I am sure you will enjoy your 19th and hopefully your 80th.

Sounds like an all around banner day. Where did you attempt to go turkey hunting? A nice shave to finish off the day.

May 2 - I’ve figured out my Mayhem! Yesterday was the first 90° day here, so what better time than now to start COLD water shaves?

It is going to take some adjustment to dealing with cold water. Shave wise, all was good, but it seems like the soaps leave more scum? I'll likely go back to the Proraso green cream just to keep the cold theme going even more.

It was Absolutely a great day! I love the fact that my 16 year old son still thinks it’s cool to hang out with his old man! Also, the wife was feeling pretty good yesterday afternoon, so that was a bonus. Hopefully, that’s a trend that continues.
I’m going to a few things around the house today, but I’m planning on doing something fun later as well. Not sure just yet what I might get into.

Thirty years as a millwright that didn't work on anything until the electricians and instrument techs got those damn wires out of the way. Old habits are hard to break.
